Drapes make such a huge difference....here's a couple of recent shots. One room, a lower level, just got an update with new carpet, drapes and pillows in red graphic patterns. The other is one of my favorite bedrooms EVER, it got these amazing silver rods from Restoration Hardware (will get a close-up soon) and new semi-home-made drapes. I came across table runners made out of this really bright fuchsia and green chenille and then added them as a cuff to some ivory retail panels, added a deep teal stripe on the inside hem and called it a day!
