The Solaris at Fireside Hearth & Home

The Solaris is a two-sided fireplace, so each side has a different treatment to show versatility. The showroom has one side with a pale modern gray wall and a round wood grain 'frame' painted on, then the opposite side has graphic metal framework on a gloss white Venetian plaster...and a lovely teracotta stained concrete floor. I didn't stain it though, I wish I had!

Fireplace Facelift...

Before: generic beige stone and beige maple surround against a sandy beige wall....yeay. beige.

After: REALLY textured tumbled brick, painted in a soft almond with an espresso faux wood over the pale maple against a deep red wall! Ah, so much more personality!
